How to PlayHow do you travel on a budget? Make a video that’s two minutes or less that demonstrates how you live the budget-savvy life style while on a vacation or road trip! How far can you go on a dollar? Show us the great ways you get the most value on a trip and have a fabulous experience. Your video must include some car travel and feature a Budget Rent A Car reference and logo prominently shown at some point in the video. Record your video with any device that captures video - or try The Flip! Then enter by filling out the official registration form and upload your video between April 14, 2008 and June 13, 2008. If it meets the official requirements noted in the official rules, we’ll upload it to our blog. There are 3 ways to win: 1) Every weekday[1] between April 14, 2008 and June 13, 2008, Budget will reward a Flip Ultra Series video camera to the best video of the day. Five judges who are Budget employees and their affiliates will decide who deserves to win The Flip! 2) Digg your favorite video at digg.com and we’ll award $1,000 to the video that gets the most diggs at the end of the contest. Tell your friends to vote too! 3) At the end of the contest a grand prize of $25,000 will be awarded to the filmmaker who demonstrates the best ideas for a smart, fun, budget-savvy trip! The winner will be chosen from all approved entries - not just daily winners. So get ready to film that road trip and show the world how to have fun and travel on a Budget! Here are some criteria to consider while making your Flip for Budget video: Does your video submission answer the creative assignment? Does your submission demonstrate how you live the “Budget-savvy lifestyle” on a road trip or vacation? Does your submission demonstrate your belief in value as it relates to travel?
