There are some really great videos but of the few I consider the best this is the only one that didn't go the music video route. That's why it's my favorite. She's a crazy and funny character in a weird world where sandwiches drive, vegetables are cute guys, and grandma's party in Daytona! That's a good world.

I see a Betty and Delores in a "Budget Betty Budget Bus" (sponsored by Budget, of course) driving across America and giving budget tips to people in small and big towns alike. She could "broadcast" from new locations each week and Budget could run it on their website. Just my two cents. I know Betty likes pennies.

Even the people who don't like this video say it's "clever" and "funny" and that Betty is an SNL-caliber character. I agree. You could see a series of commercials featuring Betty giving budget tips and advice. It would be hilarious. Great work Betty. Five stars.

I don't care for the controversy over whether this is a 'professional' piece or not. What matters to me is the content, and even though I'm in the contest too, I think this is the best video submitted. It may be in-your-face and some may find it annoying, but this is my brand of humor. Excellent job and best of luck!

This was obviously not done by a film company. it's kitschy and unique but clearly homemade. good job but I'm biased towards the one I submitted. (i think mine's the best). :-P i see u also shot at venice beach like last summer roadtrip). best of luck. I think some contestants are giving 1 star votes to their competitors.

I'm flattered you guys think this was done by a film company. I'm Budget Betty and created this video with a friend who had never shot a video camera before. I gave him a quick lesson and we shot everything in one day. I talked my neighbors into being the fruits and vegetables. We had a blast. I edited the piece myself. It was the first time I'd ever edited something from start to finish. It took me about 35 hours as I made every mistake in the book. Also, I do a comedy podcast but we don't get paid to do it. YES, this video is worth $25,000 if not more. Being over-the-top, is much better than not enough. Its easier to tone down something than to build up from nothing. Good Job!
This was a cute idea, but a little too crazy and frantic for my tastes. There were some great tips and nice little touches in there, but the woman was really annoying. Maybe that was what you were going for, but you want your viewers to keep watching, not have them stop the video because the woman annoys them. It started out good, but it just got too frantic and grating for me. Great try....keep it up.
Really nice job. I could see big cardboard Betty's at Budget locations. She'd be a funny spokesperson for them.

Most people who are actually "Bettys" age tend to get really offended by skits like this. This ad had a lot of work put into it but the target audience is kids who aren't old enough to drive yet.

Betty, you are something else! I'm giving you five stars because (a) a TON of work went into this, (b) you drive a VW and (c) you use a Mac. It was very clever, extremely smart (maybe too smart for the masses?) and a little frantic. I missed a bunch of stuff the first couple times through. Delores is fantastic. Her scene in the ghost story section is Oscar-worthy. You've definitely spiced up the contest in the home stretch here. Best of luck, Betty!
